How to get to know a guy better?

Hey, I'm a 16 yr old girl. And i have a crush on a boy at school and I never told anyone but all my friends kinda figured it out. I usually see him at his house in the summer since my older bro and his older bro plays b-ball together so I talk to him a little, he is funny, athletic, and smart all my friends always text me that he likes me and u should talk to him more often he always acts a little different around me, when we play basketball for a school activity he always compliments me and gives hi-fives but no to anyone else(yay!) and he isn't a total goofballs like normally is. Does he like me? And how do I get to know him better?
